These terms cover your use of this website. Your membership itself is governed by the separate membership agreement you sign with us, and where the two differ, the membership agreement wins. Last updated 20 September 2026.
This website describes The Strength Laboratory and lets you request a free analysis. It does not process payments and it is not where your membership is bought or managed.
Everything on this site, including the articles in Lab Notes, is general information about exercise. It is not medical advice, a diagnosis or a treatment plan, and reading it does not create a client relationship. Our trainers are certified exercise professionals. They are not physicians or physical therapists and they do not diagnose or treat any condition. If you have a medical condition, are under a doctor's or therapist's care, or have recently finished physical therapy, get clearance from that provider before starting any exercise program, including ours.
Requesting an analysis is a request, not a confirmed appointment. We will contact you to arrange a time. The information you give us must be accurate and complete, particularly the health and injury questions, because we rely on it to train you safely.
The member results shown on this site are the real measured results of real members, published with their permission. What any individual achieves depends on their starting point, their consistency, their sleep, their nutrition and their health. We do not promise you the same outcome.
The text, photographs, videos, assessment materials and training methods on this site belong to The Strength Laboratory. You are welcome to read and share links to them. You may not copy them for commercial use, or use them to run or promote a competing service, without our written permission.
Where we link to another company's site or app, including our booking and scheduling providers, their terms and privacy policies govern what happens there.
We work to keep this site accurate and available, and we cannot promise it will be free of errors or always online. We are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site itself. Nothing here limits our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and any dispute about the site will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Orange County, California.
